These drawings/studies are part of a larger project that explore the movements of snails. For the past several years I have been documenting the migratory trails of "Littorina Littorea" across beaches in Nova Scotia. I use the snails' earth-based drawings in the sand as inspiration for my own explorations in line, shape and abstraction.

These works were exhibited at Hermes Gallery (in Halifax NS) in 2024. There are additional drawings, photographs and sculptures that I plan to include in future exhibitions of this work.
