Created at the height of the COVID19 pandemic, the works in this series became a kind of cheerful escapism for me through colour and form. Exhibited at Hermes Gallery in Halifax, the Shapes of Lakes present a typography of abstract shapes that are reminiscent of water bodies as well as many other random shapes found in nature.
